Undergraduate research

graduate research
We will not be accepting graduate students to start their PhDs in Fall 2025.
Please see information below if you are interested in starting your PhD in our lab in Fall 2026.
If you are interested in joining the WoLab as Ph.D. student at Cornell University, please use this form to provide a CV and a brief statement describing your interests and motivation for joining the lab.
Each fall, Dr. Womack will review and respond to all inquiries submitted from this form. All inquires submitted before Sept 1st will be reviewed and responded to in the first week of September, all inquiries sent between Sept 2nd and Oct 1st will be reviewed and responded to in the first week of October and all inquires sent between Oct 2nd and Nov 1st will be reviewed and responded to the first week of November.
If for any reason you do not receive a response in the timeline described, or you have questions that require answers on different timelines (e.g., you want to apply for funding opportunities with deadlines OR you have questions about eligibility), feel free to reach out directly to Dr. Womack with those questions (email link at bottom of page).
We are interested in candidates that are committed to generating a positive, supportive, and inclusive lab culture that encourages creativity and scholarly research.
You need not work on frogs.

Postdoctoral research
We do not currently have funding for postdoctoral researcher salaries.
However, we have successfully sponsored two NSF postdoctoral fellowship applications and are always interested in sponsoring postdoctoral applications of any kind.
